Investments include Bandit Running, Bubble, Peloton, Casper, Harry’s, Warby Parker, Care/Of, Function of Beauty, Hu Chocolate, and Sunday Lawn.
WHAT IS A MIURA?
At its core, the Miura Program is an experiment in how to accelerate the development of high-performance individuals through the nurturing of high-performance interdependencies.
Practically speaking, it is a 10-week paid internship program, located in New York. You’ll spend the summer working alongside the Bullish team as well as your fellow interns to step in where we need help.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We seek ambitious and passionate students with big brains, thick skin, and big hearts. We’re in search of people who want to spend their summer soaking up all things brand and consumer. Those who don’t seek validation from others but instead seek challenges to prove themselves.
As an analyst in the Miura Program, your time will be spent working on the fund side of Bullish, getting a crash course in early-stage consumer investing. You must have an interest in the consumer/ e-commerce sector and care about the impact that the brand can have on companies early in the S-curve.
We expect our Analyst activities to include:
- Investment & Market Diligence
- Play a key role in organizing and leading diligence sessions
- Participate in market diligence for companies we are pursuing
- Conduct analysis to support evaluation of potential investments
- Investment Opportunity Prospecting
- Participate in meetings with leading consumer-tech companies seeking investment
- Search industry databases to discover new investment opportunities
- Industry Intelligence
- Create overviews of emerging industries
- Analysis of Portfolio Performance
- Create ad hoc reports on the fund’s performance and individual company performance
More than anything, we need our Analysts to come in with confidence, integrity, agility, and a desire to win. However, the below skills are preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Financial modeling experience
- Proven leadership
- Previous internship experience in a professional setting
HOW CAN YOU APPLY?
Please submit your resume and answers to the below questions (in 500 words or fewer for each answer) to Bullish Office.
- Bullish teammates are expected to have a point of view, driven by both evidence and factoring in one’s experiences. In your opinion, which one of our current portfolio companies would you not have invested in and why?
- Bullish invests in all things consumer and we look for teammates with a sharp eye for identifying compelling brands.
- As a consumer, where do you find new products to buy, and what draws you to purchase?
- As a potential investor, what super early-stage consumer brand on your radar should we keep an eye on and why?
- Tell us in 50 words or less why you should be the Bullish Miura analyst for the Summer of 2025.
