What awaits you

• Implementation of co-investment transactions in the growth sector
• Screening and identification of new co-investment opportunities
• Building and expanding your personal network to generate deal flow
• Financial modeling and valuation of companies and deal structuring
• Preparation of financial analyses, due diligence documents and presentations for decision-making bodies
• Independent execution of the investment process, from due diligence and coordination with key internal teams in the process to representing the investment proposal before decision-making bodies of KfW Capital
• Supporting hypothesis development on emerging technologies and trends (e.g. AI, cleantech or quantum computing)
• Contract structuring taking into account applicable internal framework conditions and successful negotiation of the contract conclusion
• Close cooperation with KfW Capital’s internal interfaces
• Participation in the development of further products and participation in internal projects

What you bring with you

• Completed university degree or comparable qualification, scientific or technical background is an advantage
• At least 3 years of transaction experience in venture capital and/or growth investing or investment banking (equity transaction experience required)
• Strong analytical and technical skills (financial modeling/company valuations)
• Existing network in the German or European VC market with a focus on growth
• team player with a hands-on mentality
• Fluent German and English skills
• Strong ability to communicate complex issues succinctly and effectively as well as the ability to take responsibility and prioritize tasks
• Above-average decision-making ability and result orientation
• Confident demeanor and the ability to convincingly represent the interests of KfW Capital, including towards funds, co-investors and other stakeholders
