Location: New York, NY (on-site, 3 days per week)

Compensation: $160-200k depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus

About Us:

[Stealth Studio] is a new digital health venture studio backed by Company Ventures, an early stage venture firm with a 10 year history building and operating NYC’s premier venture community and founder residency, Grand Central Tech. Company Ventures currently manages ~$150mm in AUM across its early stage Fund I (2018), Fund II (2022), and growth investment vehicles. Notable healthcare investments include: Maven, Centivo, Season, Particle, Stepful, Eden Health, Nomad, Octave, Elaborate, Hero, Nara, Reverence Care, Oova, and more. 

[Stealth Studio] is a next generation venture studio building high conviction transformational healthcare companies. We accelerate the startup journey for the best early stage founders with world class investment research, pre-seed capital, and deep expertise. 

Responsibilities:

• Own and direct deep, phased research on themes that will transform healthcare over the next 5-10 years.

• Conduct thorough diligence to de-risk company concepts; kill your favorites.

• Lead incubations from due diligence through investment, and operationally support incubations through recruitment and onboarding of management teams.

• Work closely with EIRs and founders to research, ideate, and execute new ventures.

• Leverage your own experience and network to recruit founding talent, seek out expert diligence, and accelerate go-to-market efforts.

• Support Terrarium operations and strategic priorities, as needed. We are also a startup.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare.

• 2-3+ years of experience investing in or incubating early stage digital health companies.

• Technical operator experience or technical background preferred (software engineering, CS, data analytics).

• Self starter with excellent work ethic.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the challenges of early-stage startup environments.

• Penchant for research: ability to synthesize large amounts of information to draw conclusions and identify opportunities.

• Strong leadership qualities with an ability to inspire and guide teams.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
